Having held senior executive roles, including Managing Director & CEO of a leading commercial bank, Munir Ahmed will offer deep expertise in Corporate Governance, Corporate Strategy, Business Transformation, Corporate Restructuring for efficiency and productivity, Design, Development and Deployment of ERPs; Compliance & Risk and helping businesses navigate a complex and evolving macro environment.

Mr Ahmed’s approach is grounded in a robust understanding of risk and compliance, financial and operational controls, and technology and operations. He has a proven track record in managing diverse products and client portfolios, designing and deploying ICT systems, and overseeing the development and deployment of shared services centers and outsourcing non-core activities to enhance operational efficiency of organizations.

His global experience spans commercial, development, and investment banking, acquired from key roles in London, Johannesburg, and Nairobi with a major global banking group. This international exposure equips him with the insights and strategies necessary to drive growth and enhance performance.

Academically, Mr Ahmed holds an MBA and a BCom and Certified Accounting qualifications, alongside multiple postgraduate business certificates in banking, corporate finance, and securities law from the University of Nairobi, Oxford University’s Saïd Business School and INSEAD.
